I really love this spot, it’s calm, cozy and nice place to work from. The laurenton iced is super good. We also got the chopped cheese and jerk crab festival ! RUN don’t walk to get this omgg!! It was sooooo good 10000% recommend

The Velvet Haus Cafe is not just another “Coffee Cafe” this space feels like HOME. I had the “Laurelton” Decaf and it was Delicious. I also indulge in their “Festivals” I had the Shrimp and OMG.. those things were absolutely Delicious. Savory and Flavorful. I highly recommend The Velvet Haus Cafe to anyone at any time. A true GEM in Queens. 💎☕️

Velvet Hause Cafe’🥰 I’m finally here and with the cool kids. It’s packed in here right now. Wonderful!!! I got The Laurelton - signature drink. Very delicious and not sweet. Also the best last croissant I’ve had in a while.  Definitely coming back again soon 🥰

Run don’t walk here😍 The place is so inviting with excellent customer service and beautiful decor and the perfect ambiance for an escape from everyday life. I had the specialty drink called the “Laurelton “. The owner is so nice and personable they treat everyone like family here the kind you want to see 😂. I’m so happy Laurelton has our own coffee house I think it’s great 😊.

A Wonderful Addition to Laurelton From the moment we walked into The Velvet Haus Café, the atmosphere stood out. The space is elegant, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, creating a comfortable setting to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. Based on a suggestion recommendation from the staff, I ordered the iced Laurelton, while my aunt enjoyed the caramel hot latte with half and half, which the owner De affectionately referred to as “the good good.” Both beverages were exceptionally well prepared, rich in flavor, and clearly crafted with care. We also tried the almond croissant, which was outstanding. It had just the right amount of sweetness, a light, flaky texture, and tasted incredibly fresh. De shared that all pastries are baked fresh each morning, and that attention to quality was evident in every bite. We also learned that Fridays will feature an expanded menu with additional meal options, which gives us another reason to return. What made the experience especially memorable was the genuine hospitality. De took the time to speak with guests, offer recommendations, and ensure everyone felt welcome. That level of personal attention made the visit even more enjoyable.
